Froyo Protein Bites
This is a super simple protein snack that's easily made and great to enjoy during the hot summer months or whenever you have a craving for a frozen treat. It's low in calories, good amount of protein for a snack and practically fat free.
All you need is a few ingredients, a mixing bowl, jumbo silicon Muffin cups, and some patience to let them freeze haha. Here's an Amazon link to the jumbo Muffin cups I use daily: https://amzn.to/3ynlpYz (I may earn a small commission if you purchase the baking cups thru my link)
Now on to the ingredients.
340g of Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1 package of Jello sugar free pudding mix. I used pistachio flavor which is why they're green haha.
120ml unsweetened almond milk
Sweetener of choice (I used allulose and here's the one I usually buy as it's the cheapest in bulk: https://amzn.to/3ysZChY
Mix ins are optional but some ideas are pieces of nuts or candy pieces, just watch the additional calories.
Instructions:
1. Take your mixing bowl and measure out the Greek yogurt out and the almond milk.
2. Mix in the package of sugar free pudding and mix well. Fold in some mix ins if you're using any.
3. Divide by 3 or 4 Muffin cups depending on your planned serving size. I made it as a 3 serving recipe without mix ins.
4. Freeze for 3 or 4 hours and enjoy. Simple right?! ;)
If you make the recipe exactly like me without mix ins, you'll end with 3 Servings of around 100 calories per serving. Macros per serving: 11.5g protein, 11.5g carbs, 0.4g fat.
